Solar & Battery Storage Station Avenue, Wickford, Essex
We were approached by this client based in Station Road, Essex, who wanted to reduce their energy bill and sell energy back to the grid with the SEG scheme. Our customers annual consumption is estimated at 4089kW. To meet his energy demand we designed a PV system that generates 7,114kWh annually and fit 5.76kWh solar storage battery to store surplus energy and sell back to the grid.
What We Installed
Aiko 445W N-Type Solar Panels
For our residential customer, we installed 18 of the Aiko 445W N-Type All Black solar panels (AIKO-A-MAH54Mb) giving 8.01kW total solar power.
The 18 x 445 Aiko panels generate an impressive 7,114kWh per year. Our clients yearly consumption is estimated at 4089kW, this system proved to be an ideal match for our customer with the addition of a solar storage battery. Any surplus energy made can be stored in battery storage and sold back to the grid through the SEG.

Fox 8kW K Series Hybrid Inverter
We installed the Fox ESS 8kW K series Hybrid inverter. The Fox inverter was great match for our customers system due to its ability to effectively manage the solar energy generated from solar panels, as well as storing excess energy in our customers battery storage system.
This Fox ESS hybrid inverter also has a built in EPS function to run your home in case of a power cut.

Utility savings based on switch from Electricity to Agile Octopus
The projected energy cost is calculated by considering a 7.0% increase in energy cost each year, due to trends in the raising cost of energy. This estimate is based on selected preferences, current energy costs and the position and orientation of your roof to calculate the efficiency of the system. Projections are based on estimated usage of 4089 kWh per year, assuming Electricity Electricity Tariff.

The MCS output (MIS 3002) and self-consumption (MGD 003) calculation methodology was not used in calculating the numbers in the table below. An alternative calculator System Advisor Model 2020.02.29.r2 was used.
