How does GivEnergy’s all in one AIO work?

The GivEnergy All In One battery is designed to store excess generation from your generation source.  The energy stored will then be discharged to meet demand when required, which prevents the need to import energy from the grid – in turn, saving you money!

How to save money with Solar Battery Storage

If your demand is higher than the power available from the battery and generation, the battery can also be used to draw and store power from the grid and charge you at your energy provider’s rate. Once your battery is charged you can then switch to battery power to keep your home running when energy costs are high. GivEnergy have an app and portal to keep an eye on your usage.

What does the Giv-Gateway do?

A companion gateway enabling switching between grid and battery, keeping your home powered during outages. The Giv-Gateway also facilitates a connection point for solar PV systems, allowing continued energy generation even without a grid supply.

What are the cons?

• A maximum of 9kw of solar power can run through AIO battery, meaning its not suitable for large solar arrays producing more than this.

• The product cannot be installed in a loft as it voids GivEnergy’s warranty.

• GivEnergy’s software is glitchy and requires frequent updates for the products to work correctly.

• Expensive to add additional batteries.
